Description
This bus station is Half Moon Bay's inconsistent connection with the world outside its little valley, at least in theory. It's maintained by the city council and kept in good condition. It's constantly staffed by 1-2 tellers and a couple of security guards. The primary issue is that most people in Half Moon Bay own a car, and use that for travel to work and back, rather than use public transportation. Some have called for the city to stop spending money on this bus station, as it's mostly a waste of money, but the city maintains this bus station primarily for tourists. Sailors are sometimes allowed to take the bus to nearby cities when on leave- usually for an afternoon in San Francisco- though this is extremely infrequent.
The Goblins, by coincidence or cause, have set up their tunnel system so that this station is directly above their primary gathering point. On infrequent occasions, Goblins have been known to pop up from drainage pipes they shouldn't be able to fit through and run around, tripping humans passing through the bus station while invisible or causing havoc through the offices during its slow late night hours.
